Coach Tyree Price is a dynamic leader with more than two decades of championship-caliber experience in collegiate track & field. Currently serving as an Assistant Track & Field Coach at Texas Christian University (TCU), he specializes in horizontal jumps, recruiting, and academic support for student-athletes. His coaching philosophy centers on technical mastery, personal development, and competitive excellence—evidenced by numerous NCAA Regional Qualifiers and top-three Big 12 finishes under his guidance.
Coach Price’s decorated coaching resume includes high-impact roles at University of Southern California (USC), Columbia University, Bethune-Cookman, South Carolina State, Morris Brown College, and Fort Valley State. He has guided athletes to NCAA podium finishes, USATF and IAAF World Championship participation, and school record-breaking performances. At USC, he mentored NCAA All-Americans, U.S. National Team qualifiers, and even a World Championships finalist in the men's triple jump. His athletes have consistently risen to national prominence, earning NCAA podium spots, setting school records, and competing at USATF, IAAF, and Paralympic levels. His coaching impact includes:

Beyond the track, Coach Price is a certified strength and conditioning expert with certifications from the United States of America Track & Field Association (USATF), NCACE, American Heart Association, and Mental Health First Aid USA. His holistic approach prioritizes physical, mental, and academic excellence.
In addition to his coaching career, Coach Tyree Price is the CEO of Po'Boy at the Party Entertainment, LLC—a creative brand focused on culture-forward entertainment, events, and engagement. He is also the author of the Amazon Best Seller "The True Mindset of Men: A Woman’s Guide", a powerful relationship and mindset book offering insight into the male perspective and helping bridge communication between men and women.
Coach Price holds a Master of Science in Sport Management/Athletic Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and a B.S. in Biology from South Carolina State University, where he also captained the track team and played football. A proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he continues to mentor and inspire the next generation of athletes, professionals, and leaders—both on and off the field.
